Dawson Construction supports and encourages activities that serve the needs of our community. The following are just a handful of current examples of such activities:

Toys for Tots

We collected several toys at the office for Toys for Tots, and several hundred dollars worth of toys were purchased and donated to Toys for Tots with the help of Robert Fillipini. Toys for Tots is a nation-wide program through the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve which collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November, December each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Thank you to all who donated this year!

Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis

DCI had a very successful year at the Jingle Bell run. With 34 participants on the Dawson team, we raised $2,475 for the arthritis foundation. Way to go!

Sand in the City

Dawson Construction teamed with Zervas Group Architects for this year's "Sand in the City" sand sculpting competition held in Bellingham on August 8th, 2008. Our team received 1st place. Seven corporate teams participated this year. This event benefits the Marine Life Center, a focal point of Bellingham's waterfront.
