Ketchikan Shipyard Dry Dock Berth 2 - Civil Work

DESCRIPTION: Dredging of ~ 52,500 cubic yards from approximately 2.0 acres below the mean high water (MHW) of Tongass Narrows. Installation of 444 feet steel sheet pile bulkhead. Construction of a grounding grid via installing 4 pre-cast concrete grounding beams, supported by six 36-inch piles (a total of 24 piles) driven to ~ 100 feet below finished grade. Removal of 2 existing creosote-treated timber dolphins and installation of one steel pipe dolphin. Installation of a new fuel barge berth, a new fuel pipe, and steel catwalk from shore to the fuel transfer point.
